My character Softling is very involved in the workings of the wolf pack itself; when all the characters are finished, can we compile a list of the rankings of the wolves and who their elf is? I hope I'm not bringing much trouble, it would just be interesting for Softling. On another note, how many members are you hoping to gather? Should we put a shout-out on the official Elfquest board, or would that cause a riot?

It's the little details that make something like this more 'real' and fun for everyone. I think it's a good idea to figure out the pack rankings. In fact, those rankings could lead to some fun, interesting, or intense plots! As for how many members... As many people who want to join are welcome! I am hoping to maintain a minimum core of at least ten active, participating members since any fewer than that will put too much pressure on everyone and we will all eventually suffer burnout. However, I'm always of the mind that, in a writing group, "the more, the merrier!" is always true. Kris has submitted a request to have our link added to the Elfquest.com fan links page, but I've never been a participating member of their message board forum and don't feel comfortable joining it just to advertise. But I may cave on that point and do it anyway, unless you or Viola wish to post for us!

Sure, I'll put a little message out for those interested.

You know, that's a great idea. And it would help get members interested in playing the wolves too. We tend to see them as "there," but not as real personalities, when they're full partners in the bond between elf and wolf.
