History/Personality: The first of Windcat's children with Shadowbird, Starpath was never an intentionally mischevious child. Despite this, he would always follow wherever he could, just to see a new thing or get better at it. Whether this meant following his father into a hunt or his half-brother Ashglow where they didn't belong, Starpath was perfectly willing to deal with the consequences of his curiousity, an elf of few regrets.
It was at Ashglow's insistence that Starpath followed Nightsun, something he does not regret for sheer practicality; he would've been one less to take care of his sister if he'd been taken by the sickness.
At first meeting, Starpath seems aloof or coldly polite, because he is protective of his self and his brother and sister. Just as he enjoys following, unless called upon to some responsibility, he prefers to let others approach him. Starpath likes to get to know them through their actions and interactions rather than from his own prying questions. In private however, Starpath is a people pleaser, ever encouraging and friendly, especially to cheer his brother Ashglow.
Starpath is very close to his sister Nightsun, even if he can't understand her 'up in the clouds' mentality and resistance to hunting. He is quick to defend her though. The Wolfrider's ideal of the hunt very much appeals to him, as he views the kill as necessary and respectful to life. While the idea of following a young chieftess because of something called the 'blood of chiefs' is rather awkward to him, the overall idea of the Way also appeals to him, as does the unelf-like bond between the Wolfriders. Starpath cannot fully form himself to the Wolfrider mindset, but admires them and desires to be a part of their holt.
Starpath is also, of course, an unerring admirer of the stars, and reveres them like the High Ones themselves. He's even suggested, much to the amusement of others, that High Ones were made of stars, or something of the like. As the Wolfriders get to know him, they will find Starpath is an active, happy elf who is not dragged into laziness or boredom for long.
