I know this is probably answered somewhere, but how is Recognition handled? I'd prefer a surprise, but I'd understand if the administrator didn't want to handle that mess.

Well, we're being as canon about it as we can. If you want one of your characters to Recognize, you just let us know. And then we tell you who they've Recognized. We're evil that way. After all, if the elves themselves have no choice about it, why should we? Although, this reminds me I need to set up a topic or forum for folks to post whether or not they're willing to have their character Recognize anyone. That way we'll know who's willing before we get the request. If you're wanting a child to have specific parents, that's possible to. The parents just won't be Recognized. Birthrates are shockingly low for elves, so any pregnancy has to be approved - but at least you can choose the parents if it's not a Recognition pregnancy.

Lol, ways to bother the administrators just keep popping into my head. When the child is born, do the administrators determine the features and gender? Who plays the child?

Once a child is born, the member who requested the Recognition 'owns' the child character. Doesn't matter if it was the father or the mother. And a child is as much a character as an adult, so it'll need to be supported, too. The holt managers will tell you the gender of the child when they tell you who the Recognized mate is. But physical attributes, soul name, cub name, and personality will be up to the character's owner to determine.

Hopefully, you do! Never stop asking questions. You never know how has the same one but is too shy to ask!
