What would be wavedancer lingo for all the flora and fauna in the sea? For instance, what would they call an eel?

I think like elf lingo for anything non-canon, we're making it up as we go along. Since some things are the same - wolves, snakes, jackals, I think it's okay for them to call an eel and eel.
I had Strell mention "Pinch-claws", which I figured would be lobsters, crabs, or both.

I know whales=slaptails and sharks=...daggerteeth? Something like that in the Wavedancer anthologies?

I'd say, for clarity purposes, stick to the standard. But, if you think a Wavedancer name for an animal should be used, post it in this forum and we can discuss. Of course, this means we'll need to start a Flora/Fauna list, too, so we can keep it straight.

I think "slaptail" only refers to the humpback whales the pips were chasing in that issue, though.
