I wanted to include Redthorn to go with them, but it occurred to me that the black magic might trigger maybe one of her bad memories, showing them some of it's badness (magic pool) and she might stay behind. Softling would want to go because of her private magic sensing which is likely bugging the crap out of her wolfblood. I haven't decided for Evenstar. Should I try the Redthorn thing or do you have something else in mind?

Evenstar would probably stay behind, since she's not a hunter/scout. Wolfling could probably go, but I'm not sure what you mean by her 'private magic sensing'?
Redthorn...that's a toss up. As a scout/hunter, she'd be ideal for going. However, it would also make sense for her to stay behind, too. Thornberry's comment is the perfect opening for her to say she'd stay behind. What bad memories could the magic sensing be bringing up?

Wolfling, lol? Softling has magic sensing she doesn't much communicate (included in her profile) because she's not sure what it is, but she has an idea. She gets magic feeling around Sunsong and Mist, but was embarassed to bring it up as a cub. Here her magic feeling would be on fire. Lemme reread Thornberry and I'll post.

Oops, typo. That's what happens when your brain is analyzing accounts while you're posting. Okay, I think I misunderstood Softling's sheet where it said the magic sensing. All elves have that to a limited extent. Otherwise they wouldn't be feeling Blue Mountain at all. But if Softling has more of that sense than the usual, then she'd be considered a magic user, whether or not she was actively using the magic. Which means you would need to create another Wolfrider character to balance her.

Hm...gimme some time to think about it. I may take that out, because the whole band seems complete. Would another Wolfrider be crowding it?

What's going on with Redthorn?

No, another Wolfrider won't be crowding it. Remember, our scenario says "three eights and more" Wolfriders followed Stormfire. We're only at 17 named followers, out of the 24+ that are with her.

Okay, a bad memory mostly triggered by the magic, it's not too dramatic, she'll get over it in a second and solidify her decision. No one even needs to notice.

Oh, okay. It looked like she was being attacked by something and that kinda threw us. Not that we mind twists and turns, we just need to be forewarned so we can work it in without throwing off the plotline.
