Okay, so I was setting Taraan up to be trading with the trolls, I had a few questions.
Are the troll caverns listed on the map the abandoned ones from Greymung's kingdom?
Are we having a group of trolls having set up there again? Or are the trolls our elves trade with somewhere else?
I think I might have a few more, but I'll start with that.

The trolls we'll be trading with are somewhere else - and two groups. Neither is in the troll caverns on the map - those are the caverns the Pini's used and therefore opening onto a forest and then the desert. We're passing it right on by, well north of it, as we follow the river west. We WILL be encountering trolls, but later. After the Wolfriders meet up with the Wavedancers, and probably after they meet the Plainsrunners. Although I will take a look at the map and see where to place them now so we'll know for future references.

Okay. That's be cool. I was curious how far Taraan was traveling to trade with the trolls. I saw the original caverns and was thinking - that's a long way for him to take off to on his own. He'd be away for months!
Of course, he still might be depending on where the trolls are. At the very least I'm figuring it's several weeks travel to and back. Yes-No?

The Plainsrunners are nomads, so odds are that on their annual migrations they swing close to the troll caverns. So odds are his 'trading trips' happen once or twice a year and arent' so far from the main band - just a shirt jaunt away while they're in that particular area. I think I can make adjustments to teh map, so give me ten or fifteen minutes and check that message thread to see if there's and update.

Okay, here's the map again, revised. I've played Goddess with the land and inserted an escarpment between the Northern Grass Plains and the forest that the Wolfriders will settle in. There is one troll 'kindgom' in this escarpment, and three major entry/exit points. One is right across the river from the Wolfrider's new holt. The other two are further east. Those entry/exit points are indicated with pink dots, the Wolfrider hold with a red dot. The grey line between forest and grass plains is the escarpment. Mind this is a very rough map. It's use is just to give us an idea of where we are and where other things are in relation to the holt.

But it's really useful! ;D Thank-you! It makes more sense that he'd swing by when in the area. So probably more only a couple days than long weeks gone from the band. That works, I wasn't sure about Taraan spending so much time alone. He likes being around his fellow elves too much.
