Okay, y'all are the BEST! This is great! And here I was worried we'd never manage to get a couple of characters to argue without stepping on toes. Woo-hoo! Keep it up! I love conflict in RPs!

Okay, conflict is good. But not when it starts ignoring basic precepts of Wolfrider instincts. And remember: the topic of the RP is Blue Mountain Rubble Explorations - not Blue Mountain Rubble Evasion. Keep in mind, folks, that a lot of a wolf’s instincts govern how Wolfriders react to each other in leadership situations. A wolf challenges ONLY if they want to take the position of the wolf being challenged. To debate and argue is one thing – but when the chief says “This is what we’re going to do,” continuing to argue IS a challenge. Those who disagree can be as surly and unhappy as they please, but the argument stops. If it doesn’t, it’s a challenge for the leadership. Every instinct in the Wolfrider says it. So, unless Longdusk and/or Thornberry want to challenge for the chief’s knot, they need to stop trying to change Stormfire’s mind. They questioned, they argued, Stormfire responded. This isn’t an everyday argument between two people. This is an argument about the chief’s decision. That’s the end of it, unless one of them decides to challenge. And we’re not changing chiefs this early in the setting, so if you challenge, you’re going to lose.
