Well, this has been fun, neglecting my study and all  But the upcoming week I'll be majorly busy writing two articles, which is going to eat away lots of my spare time. I'll try and post once or twice, but till next Tuesday, I'll be a bit sporadic |

Okay, I'm highly frustrated at the moment. Finally done with the university stuff, and now my computer crashed -- for the second time this year. ARGH! I think it's got a virus or something; we're going to try to get the data from the other partitions of the HD tomorrow before installing it anew. Meanwhile, I am using my boyfriends PC but since he has all those programs running that slow this very old cracker down, I might be a bit slow during the next few days. I'll keep you informed.

Aw! Computer crashes = 0 fun. Especially if it's a virus. Gah. One of my own virus-related crashes totally melted my memory and everything. No fun at all!

Well, we figured out that it wasn't a virus, but a hardware problem. What KIND of hardware problem we still don't know -- we tried to test everything when we got the nice blue screen, but still no luck. Thankfully I've got my boyfriend's PC to abuse now |

An update on my computer-less stadium: My brother came last week to see what was wrong and he suspected the Harddisc to be the failure. It was none of that, the HD works fine, and so does the motherboard, memory, video and audio card... in fact, everything works as it should be, and was tested in other computers. So we installed it again, and with the updated version of Windows we got a nice blue screen telling us over and over that there appeared to be a hardware problem. So, the computer's dead and since everything SHOULD work, we honestly don't know what this is all about. Result of it all is that I bought a laptop -- which I had anticipated for somewhere next year, but this speeded things up. If all goes well, I should receive it at December 3rd at the latest. Till then, I'm using my boyfriend's computer which means I will be on in the hours he's not at home, because either he'll need it or I feel uncomfortable claiming his PC all the time. It's just three weeks, so I should be able to manage |
