Personality/History: Nahual is a fierce huntress and elf; to those she loves, her ferocity can be wonderful and joyous, and to those she distrusts, it can be dangerous. Nahual is an elf that will act without thinking, a trait made infamous from her piphood. She remains in some embarassment over her own possessiveness and occasional jealousy. To those who are close to her, she has a good sense of humor, but they have to reach it first.
Despite her outward 'shell' of protectiveness, Nahual is nothing like the mer-elf Ornah; she is interested readily in new things and ideas, as long as they don't threaten her loved ones. She is more likely to side with the risktakers and active members of the pod in disagreements. Podmates such as Jahtil and Ashera vastly appeal to her over more thoughtful elves such as Hourel, though she still shows respect. She doesn't want to 'know' the world, she wants to feel it!
Her love of the new rarely extends far from their bay and she prefers exploring the reaches of the vast waters rather than the land, which simply hasn't called to her like it has Tylah or any others. Nahual loves the stars and sky as readily as any elf, but she is embarassed to lose time and herself gazing at them.
