Please remind that the characters are seen through my charachters' eyes, and are not my own opinion Longdusk's Opinion:Evenstar: He actually never really formed an opinion about the tanner. She was there when his furs had been ripped apart or something. Evenstar's just always been Firecat's little sister. Lately, however, he has started to value her for her outlook on life, despite her background, and her positive (but not overly positive like Sunsong) way of thinking. Firecat: Honestly, if he didn't know better he'd think she really was as shallow as she appears. Longdusk's feelings swing from respect to gravely annoyed with the female who wants to be in the center of the attention all the time, but has a great deal of respect for her the way she raised her sister. Avoids her, usually, except when he's had too many dreamberries. He might find himself in her furs the day after. Mist: Wise, thoughtful, kind. Longdusk sees Mist as a friend. Well-balanced between elf and wolf, and will often seek out for his company when he feels thrown back into the past too much. Values his opinion, even though it might not always be what he wants to hear. Oakstaff: Hard to follow -- He's never been really close to the youngster (though he realizes Fleetfoot probably shared his furs more than once). Can't really have a decent conversation with the guy, so he doesn't really seek him out. Redthorn: Happy to have his mother's soul sister with them. Redthorn has always felt a bit like an auntie to him. Longdusk identifies himself with her, feeling that they share a lot of incidents happening in their lives, and will often pull towards her and her cub. Silent: An oddball. Where does his thoughts fly to? Longdusk doesn't understand him. Why the male doesn't speak is another riddle -- Longdusk understands why one would want to keep quiet (he's not one to talk much himself) but staying completely silent is the other end. Weird. Silvercub: Somewhere, Silvercub reminds him of little Fleetfoot, and though overenthusiastic and full of mischief, Longdusk has a weak spot for the cub. Softling: A very troubled cub, who hasn't found her place in the world yet. Longdusk sees the cub is trying to search for her way between the elf and wolf song, but realizes the wolf in this one is stronger. Someone needs to teach her that they are both elf and wolf and not just wolves, as she appears to think. She's trouble. Stormfire: Respects the young chieftess a great deal. Thinks she holds herself fairly well and wise -- a bit too wise, perhaps -- for her age. Appreciates her for her sense of humor. Sunsong: Though her ever-happiness sometimes ticks Longdusk off, he can't help but smile (a little) when she tries to cheer him up. She is a whirl of positivity and there are times he doesn't want that, and will try to chase her away with a snarl at those moments. Sometimes it works, and sometimes... well, he's stuck with her. Tallspear: Longdusk feels easy around him, and he admires Tallspear in his loyalty for his new chieftess. He can totally understand, though, why Tallspear and Stormfire won't mate. Simple as that: Friendship isn't love. People should get that before they start gossiping.... anyway. Respects and likes the young hunter. Whirlwind: Relates to her pragmatic character, but the way she acts like her name is sometimes... well, scary. Always busy, that can't be healthy. Still, he values her presence, and if she feels depressed every once in a while, he'll be happy to seek her out and try to help her out of it. Windsoft: A female with two faces. While he values her a lot because of her hunting skills and silence during a hunt, she turns like a leaf on a tree when she gets home. It puzzles him somewhat that someone actually can be like that. Furthermore, she's nice and kind. Wingfoot: Respects and likes the elder a great deal. When he was younger, Longdusk always wanted to be like Wingfoot and even tried to grasp the art of weapon-making. Unfortunately, it didn't work out, but Longdusk still sees the elder as a valued friend -- even though their conversations are usually caught in the ongoing sound of the making of weapons.

Evenstar's views
Firecat: Though they differ on many things, Evenstar considers her bright-haired sister to be a close, if not closest, friend. Through witnessing much of Firecat's flaws and fears as a cub, Evenstar herself reflects many of these, though she knows not why. The calmer, more positive of their parent's cubs, it is not uncommon for Evenstar to become the defender and comforter for her hotblooded sister and friend.
Icemark: Evenstar gets along well with the older Icemark, who appreciates all the joys of being a Wolfrider as she does. She loves this light-hearted cubtender and tribemate as a good friend and a wonderful mate for Redthorn and father for his cub. She teases him often about the possiblity of new cubs in Stormfire's tribe, and how she hopes he will eventually be in over his head!
Longdusk: She doesn't appreciate his snarky remarks to her more...ditzy or dreamy conversations, but she wonders if there is more to the scout than meets the eye. As with Redthorn, his 'aunt', she knows there is some great sadness that clouds his mind, but fears to ask.
Mist: Evenstar sees Mist as a wise friend and tribemate, a fellow and ally in the ways of levelheaded thinking. She appreciates his approval and input, as well as his subtle way of making her smile. She worries that Mist may think himself to death with all his care for the new chieftess, and hopes she can be a friend to him for the good and the bad that comes.
Oakstaff: Evenstar does not know this tribemate as well as she might like, but enjoys his friendly company and hopes to further her friendship with him, along with all her tribemates, with the forming of the new holt. She fears, as with many of her old tribemates, that her stargazing and reclusive tanning habits have left her somewhat devoid of the strong bonds that tie many of her tribemates.
Redthorn: Evenstar does not know her redheaded elder as well as she might like, but the two have had their fair share of starlit talks and dances. She knows there was great tragedy in Redthorn's past, though the details remain unclear, and hopes she might be a good friend if Redthorn should ever need one.
Shellslip: A good friend and fisher, which Evenstar always appreciates. Evenstar is hoping for their friendship to grow, as she does for her all her tribemates.
Silent: Evenstar is both attracted to and uncomfortable with the quiet tribemate, but hopes her kindness will one day win her a few words. She can definitely relate to the desire to wonder and watch, though she can't imagine living outside the Now so readily as he!
Silvercub: Evenstar, as with any proud Wolfrider, absolutely adores this sweet she-cub, no matter what mischief she makes. Though her occasional attempts to instill a little wisdom in Silvercub may have seemed for not, she is both pleased and worried to have Silvercub along with the new holt journey, but she prays to the Hogh Ones nothing but good will come of it. Who knows...perhaps Silvercub could learn the tanning trade!
Softling: Evenstar often worries for this lost cub, and grieves for the loss of Rillbird, Softling's mother and a good friend to the tanner. Her attempts to reach out to the young tracker seem to be mostly rejected, but her physical stature and wolf-friend often keep Softling a little more respectful to the tanner.
Stormfire: Although Evenstar is unsure what to think of the new chieftess, she plans to support her with all the kindness and wisdom she can muster. She feels some optimism for the respect Stormfire gives her tribemate's opinions and her decisive, but thoughtful manner of leadership.
Sunsong: Even Evenstar can get a little peeved at this sunny bird's constant glow, but the two can be undeniably close in time of trouble, their optimism and love keeping the tribe afloat. Evenstar considers Sunsong a good friend and fine Wolfrider, and hopes their friendship will continue to grow with time.
Tallspear: Though Evenstar can sometimes take offense to his thoughtless decisions and sarcastic moods, she is just as fond of the handsome tribemate as any other. She respects his honest opinion and fierce defensiveness of his friends and family, and appreciates his company in her lonely moments, though he rarely understands her thoughts outside the Now.
Thornberry: This tribemate can really rub her fur all the wrong ways sometimes, but she loves him as a fellow Wolfrider anyways. She worries that he worries, which is no good for either of them.
Whirlwind: Evenstar often struggles to relate at a constant to her ever moody tribemate, but keeps trying nonetheless. Her own dreamy and thoughtful moods often clash with Whirlwind's love of pleasures, pains, and all the stuff in between.
Windsoft: Evenstar can both fear and respect this tough huntress at times, but she feels they have a fair understanding of each other. Evenstar has mended plenty of hunt torn leathers, Windsoft's included, and the two tribemates have shared many dances. Evenstar hopes Windsoft may one day teach her how to better speak her mind, while she hopes to teach the huntress a little more of patience with her frustrations and failures.
Wingfoot: Evenstar adores her weapon making elder for his good humor and thoughts, and has spent many nights quietly preparing skins beside him as he carved out a good piece of wood. She admires his curiousity and willingness to help, but not too much so, every tribemate in need. Despite the age difference, you could even say she has a small crush on Wingfoot.

::Wingfoot blushes and grins at Evenstar's admission::
I'm working on this, I swear. Juggling a few other things . . . but I'll get there!

Evenstar: The optimistic and thoughtful Evenstar can really put Softling off most of the time, but she knows she better stay on the tanner's good side if she ever wants those leathers mended!
Firecat: Though the huntress's rambunctious ways can grate Softling on occasion, she admires Firecat's ability to stay nearly completely in the Now, even if it only means she's had a bit too many dreamberries that night!
Icemark: Being just past a young cub, Icemark cared for Softling as readily as the rest of the young elves, but never really bonded as closely as he or she might have liked. His goading for her to entertain herself with agemates led to more tension than playtime, and she insists he simply doesn't 'get' the true meaning of the Now, at least by her definition. Still, she sees him as someone she can trust if she ever gets in "too deep".
Longdusk: Like the teen that she is, Softling will often claim to dislike Longdusk simply because everyone does like him; His good looks and stubborn attitude probably scrape her the wrong way because she shares much of the same characteristics with a completely different result.
Mist: Softling worries about looking weak to the rest of the tribe when she allows herself to be cared for or healed. Mist, however, has proven to be kind and patient teacher for the she-cub, and she cares for his approval and opinion, whether or not her words show it.
Oakstaff: Softling considers herself to get along quite nicely with Oakstaff, whether or not he agrees. She appreciates his love of hunts, howls, and the simple things.
Redthorn: Softling is intimidated by this elder and is not sure what to make of her, as a tribemate, elf, or wolf. She just has a feeling she shouldn't get on her nerves too often...especially since Whitecrest reigns as alpha, a wolf she does not want to cross.
Silent: Softling is stubbornly disrespectful of this quiet elf, more for his confusing thoughtfulness than anything else. Just as her wolfsong seems to sing all the stronger, Silent hears the starsong in ways she can't understand, despite times when she might like too.
Silvercub: Even Softling can't deny a smile and a few kind words to the glowing cub, though she might edge onto her nerves at times.
Stormfire: Softling is not sure of her own hopes for the holt, much less for the new chieftess. She feels a general disapproval, worrying that the Now and the voice of the pack and wolf-friends may be lost in all the scuffle for a new holt. She dares not cross her however, at least until she's seen Stormfire take her first steps.
Sunsong: This bird drives Softling bonkers, but she knows how to appreciate a friendly face and a warmly shaped den as well as the next Wolfrider. She understands that Sunsong is part of the Now, but finds herself at odds with how she should treat the plantshaper, especially since Shade is worst pack rank. What does that say about Sunsong?
Tallspear: Softling likes Tallspear for his decisive, forward mannerisms and for his skills in a hunt, but remains shy as long as his eyes remain on Stormfire.
Whirlwind: Despite her arguments with the fiery Whirlwind, Softling adores her seeming confidence in her own thoughts and decisions, no matter where they might lead her. Softling is cautious for the huntress's stong bond with the chieftess however, and doesn't feel she knows Whirlwind enough.
Windsoft: A head huntress and fierce defender of pack and tribe, Softling admires Windsoft as a provider and leader, but as with most of her tribemates, is troubled by her own percieved distance between pack and tribemates.
Wingfoot: Softling doesn't dare cross this old elf, and often runs her poor Now-ridden mind ragged trying to understand his subtler ways and meanings. They are often at odds on matters, and though she often is humbled by his wisdom and age, she remains skeptical about what to think of his attempts at instilling a little thought and open curiousity into her one-track mind.

Ooh, I love Softling's opinion about Longdusk... as I don't think "everybody dislikes" him. But teenagers.. you know. This will be interesting ;-)
I started on Firecat's list, but my browser crashed -_- I'll try and rewrite it during the upcoming week!

Now I'm in a hurry to finish Stormfire's list and Whirlwind's. And Tallspear . . . well, Tallspear might get a chance to get to know Softling better. ::evil grin::

I'm...I mean Softling is a little scared now... @-@ Just kidding. I think I've made Softling too anti-social for a Wolfrider...I need to find a way to balance her wolfiness with her genuine loyalty to the tribe.
