Twin Peaks Holt (nothing to do with the tv series by the way, though strange things may occur) is a pureblooded elf tribe, who have established a friendship bond with snow leopards. The elves live near the tree line in caves, shaped by rock shapers. A human village is nearby but the two usually leave eachother alone, though the humans know about the elves and see them as sacred. They will bring them offerings, which the elves gladly accept to support them in their winter months. The roleplay hasn't started yet and we're looking for players who want to bring one or two characters in play. The number of male and female is more or less balanced, so there are basically no restrictions. If you like it, drop by sometimes at www.frozenleaves.com/twinpeaks and let us know what you think  |

And the game begins! Chieftess Wildgrace and her friend Snowbird return from the offering altar of the humans, in the pinetree forest on the hills of the mountain where the elves live. The humans have been generous, but some question their loyalty. they return just in time, because the first snow is about to fall.
Meanwhile, Lionskin's precious lionskin, after which he's been named, has disappeared from his den. Apparently, one of his tribesmates "borrowed" it, and suspicion rises that it's one of the tanners. We have a few adoptables who would very much like a player! All these outlines can be adapted somewhat, and most of the CIS is still empty for new players to fill in. Adoptive daughter of Snowbird, sister of Rainshy Outgoing, flirtatious, hates the cold. Secretly realous of Snowbird who has a lifemate who adores her, but who sometimes doesn't seem to notice so. Loves pretty things, accessoires and jewelry. Is known for her ability to create a variety of berry juices and loves to experiment with it. Berries are precious to her. Father of Melody, lifemate of Jewel Proud but has a soft spot for his family. He is very disciplined and loves the hunt and his lifemate. Though sometimes he feels a bit troubled by her habit to share herself so freely if he isn't around or doesn't have the time. Pretty traditional. Gentlepace - Dream Interpreter631 years old
Father of BackspinRomantic soul, who fights to make his dreams come true if he can. Strongly believes that everything you want to happen, eventually will happen if you just put enough effort and faith in it. Semi-actively looking for a lifemate, but the younger generation is too playful for him. Still has a weak spot for Newshine but know they would make their lives miserable, and settles for friendship. Tried to convince Rainshy in lovemating once, but she boldly refused. Melody - Cook, Brewer620 years old
Daughter of Jewel and Flintstriker Melody has a cheerful and friendly nature. She loves too cook and help others. She had a soft spot for cubs and hopes to recognize or get pregnant, though she's careful in choosing her furmates. Melody is a very talented singer and often comes up with own very nice melodies. She loves to eat and as much as she loves to cook. Somehow she has grown very fond of Summerset and Irontheeth and would like to be a part of their life, though she knows it's way to early to come up with such a thing. Sometimes Melody seems a bit scatterbrained and loses things she just placed somewhere. Rainshy - Cook, Baker857 years old
Sister of BlueberryRainshy has the unusual habit of refusing to take male fur- or lovemates, because she doesn't want to get pregnant again. She sticks to female furmates, something she enjoys greatly. Loves the rain, doesn't care if she gets wet. When it rains, she mourns for her lost cubs and lifemate, and she does that on her own which earned her the name of Rainshy. Adores food and experimenting with different flavour-makers. She's developed several kinds of bread, and has found more ways to preserve meat and fish. Interested in one of these characters? I think, then, this is going to be the very first time that both holts have no characters left  Sure, MVH has openings for new characters soon, but TPH has not in the near future. oh, and I have to add: Backspin is scared to death of nutcrackers (squirrels), and Flintstriker is too proud to hunt ravvits and rather hunts bigger prey. (I love elves with quirks) |

Linda, I had a thought. Would the management of Twin Peaks or Mist Valley object to us setting up advertising/chat forums for Twin Peaks and Mist Valley here? Not for RP, of course, but an onsite forum where a member of the Holt could give updates on current happenings there, answer questions Westering's members might have, with the goal of luring in new members to Mist Valley, Twin Peaks (and whatever other holt one of our members may want to get more members for... ) Sometimes there's more success in getting new members to join when they know they already have friends waiting for them. |
