All right -- here it goes:
A few weeks ago, the elves discovered a tunnel nearby the holt, which was elfin-shaped, but large enough for trolls. Measures were taken to fortify the holt and prepare the elves that were less ready for a fight. Kearen was taught by Greendream to use the nets in fighting.
At the beginning of the current day, Ripple was kidnapped and taken away in the tunnel. Halfnote quickly assembled a rescue party, leaving Taellin and Trueblade in charge of the holt. When they were half a day gone, something tore down the protective thorn wall. Trueblade, Iceglare and Kearen went to see what was up, and they discovered a party of around 10 trolls. Quickly retreating, Trueblade and Taellin set up the defense. Rosebud, Starblaze and Muse, the archers, were put in front, high up in the trees, with Greendream, Iceglare and Kearen, the netfighters, right behind them to trap the trolls. Silhouette was behind them, with her poisoned darts.
Taellin and Trueblade were on the grounds near the Father Tree, while Whisperleaf and Gale, under protection of Fireflash, were ordered to stay inside. Berrywine is also inside, in a different den.
Gale is giving Fireflash a very hard time, despite the fact that he's only seven, he wants to fight and protect the holt. Fireflash and Whisperleaf are currently trying very hard to calm him down.
Greendream was shot in the first round of attack, from two trolls coming from a different direction. She pulled out the arrow from her shoulder, and is currently functioning as eyes of the holt, feeling dizzy from the loss of blood. In the last post, one of the preservers has turned up next to her -- Sunnywing told her that three more trolls are on their way, but Greendream hasn't passed on that information yet.
From the twelve trolls known (not counting the three that are on their way), nine are already dead, and one is wounded. Taellin is heavily wounded and is down, Iceglare is hurt but still on her feet, and a few wolves have been beaten up badly. Trueblade is trying to keep up the morale for the last part of the fight
