Talent: Sending.
Skills: Situational awareness, hunting on horseback or on foot, tracking, archery, use of the bola. He’s an okay dancer as well, but not too much of a singer. He's capable of traveling long and hard on foot or horseback, and he is exceptionally skilled with riding. It’s become part of a wisecrack saying among his friends: “That’ll happen when Far-Runner takes a tumble off his horse.”

Likes: Friendship and community, riding, rainy days (because there are almost always rainbows afterward), having things to do, joinings and cuddling, dancing, taking care of Skyracer, traveling, cheese.
Dislikes: Boredom, when a friend or tribe-mate is hurting in some way and he can’t help, fruitless hunts, being sick, and anything that tastes sour.

Personality: A considerate, confident, honest, good-natured, laid-back lad with considerable endurance and self-sufficiency. He’s fond of puns and quips, and he loves a good laugh. His manner invites people to relax and have fun around him, and he has no need to quibble with anyone.
Far-Runner is also very affectionate and enjoys physical contact; anyone who gets close enough will soon have him stroking their arm, neck or back, or playing with their hair. Many a maiden enjoys the warmth of his lap, and if someone is tired, he’ll offer a thigh to let them rest their head. Far-Runner firmly believes it’s the simplest actions that can be amongst the most comforting.
He doesn’t often get angry; when he does, it’s often more out of frustration than temper or actual pique. It usually passes quickly, though, because he’s a sensible guy and knows anger is an exhausting, frequently useless emotion. He also takes a lot of pride in his archery skills.
When they meet, the wild spirit and brotherhood of the Wolfriders will appeal to him greatly, and he’ll actively seek a lovemate or lifemate among them.
History (in progress) : It was fall when Far-Runner was born as Sei-Ru; he was given to another band once his milk-days were over, as is customary among the Plainsrunners, and hasn't had a lot of contact with his birth-parents since. He grew up in the care of a loving threesome who made sure he lacked for nothing, and his father was the one who helped the boy make the bond with his first horse, Daytripper.
Sei-Ru proved to have a knack with the equines, and he became exceptionally close to his friend; they certainly had a deep understanding of each other, and Sei-Ru learned to ride with confidence, knowing that Daytripper would look out for him as he looked out for her. The partnership lasted for twenty-seven years before the horse died peacefully of old age, but Sei-Ru still grieved profoundly, finding it difficult to move on at first. His second mother told him "It's always hardest to lose your first friend, and saying goodbye never gets much easier, but in time, you will remember the happiness you shared together, and forget your tears."
The wise words helped Sei-Ru move on and make another bond three years later. It was in growing to understand his second horse, Hailchaser, that he began developing his ability to ride long and hard scouting missions, as long as he was attentive to Hailchaser's needs. It was then he started jokingly calling himself Far-Runner, but his friends and age-mates found it appropriate, and the name stuck, becoming a source of satisfaction for the young elf.
