I was debating about giving Strell a child outside of recognition - but the mother and him never became lifemates. Would you like that to be Nahual?

Well, Strell is over 800, so that could work. Though I was debating about making his child happen earlier than that in his lifetime. Maybe a younger sister would be better? I haven't put down parents for him yet.

Actually, I meant I was thinking I wanted Strell to be younger when he had his kid. So the child would be older. But that's okay. I can change plans. ;D
I imagine Strell would adore any child of his, so I would think they would be close. But that's up to you. Maybe the fact that her parents never became lifemates, but went on to other lovemates contributed to Nahaul's possessive streak in her own relationships?

I can make her older, how much? I just imagined the possessiveness as an extension of her personality, a leftover of the child hunter that would yell "It's mine!" every time she had a success. It could be a single parent issue too. They could be close as well. I can tone down the possessiveness.

I wasn't thinking about it as a single parent issue since the mother would have been involved in raising her. More along the lines of deciding that the relationship Strell and the mother had wasn't what she wanted.
I don't know whether to invent some info about the mother, or leave the spot open for someone's future character.

Well, I'll make her slightly older, but I don't know how much you are looking for. How's 500 or so? I like this whole issue idea, but I'm sort of overloaded of playing my own relative, but if no one picks it up, I'm sure we could whip up a really interesting mom. Why were Strell and this mother not closer?

500 is good. Around the age I was thinking his child would be.  As for the mother and Strell, I sort of saw it that they were friends and lovemates, but that their love just didn't run deep enough to become committed lifemates. And eventually she found someone she loved deeper, perhaps even recognized. Strell had a handful of other lovemates - but never someone he felt enough to commit to. I know, he seems awful old not to have a lifemate, huh? Maybe my poor Strell has commitment issues. Or maybe he's too committed to his oysters. ;D |
